Semi-finished Yarn

The yarns of a lifetime, with the tradition of a lifetime … but with the most innovative manufacturing processes.

semi-finished Yarn

We offer a wide variety of semi-combed yarns (wool type) of long fiber, both raw and colored.

We have a great experience in long fiber yarn, as our more than 45 years of experience in the market corroborate, manufacturing both conventional and technical yarns for different applications.

ACRYLIC

We manufacture from a metric 5 to a 50, to 1 and several ends.

Uses and applications: Home textile, velvet and clothing.

KANEKARON MODACRYLIC

We manufacture from a metric 5 to a 50, to 1 and several ends. We offer yarns obtained from Kanecaron® fibers and their mixtures.

Applications:

  • Protective clothing
    Comfort clothing
Fabrics used in the manufacture of garments that meet the specifications of standards EN 366 C1, EN 367 B1-B2, EN 373 D1-D3-E1-E3, EN 470 1, EN 532 A, high visibility
    Antistatic
    Arc resistance
    Outdoor textiles.

Generalities of the polymer: Kanecaron fibers, depending on their type, have differential characteristics in terms of the oxygen limit (LOI. Percentage of oxygen required to achieve combustion), highlighting the fact that it is a fiber that does not melt but instead carbonizes, a factor that produces a rigid surface that, after combustion, continues to provide protection. The difficult flammability is permanent, without deterioration due to the washing of the garment. This characteristic is obtained directly by the modification of the polymer during the fiber extrusion process and it is not possible to alter it during the production of spinning, weaving or finishing, as well as by the care and maintenance operations to which the garments are subsequently subjected. With these fibers, physical performance is ensured, that is, high dimensional stability after a high number of washes, light fastness and alkali resistance. POLYAMIDE

We manufacture from a metric 5 to a 30, to 1 and several ends.

Yarns obtained from polyamide 6 and polyamide 66 fibers.

Polyamide threads are excellent due to their high mechanical strength, good fatigue resistance, high damping power, good sliding properties and outstanding wear resistance, which is why they stand out in the manufacture of paint rollers.

POLYESTER

We manufacture from a metric 5 to a 40, to 1 and several ends.

Uses and applications: Home textile and clothing.

FIRE FIGHTER POLYESTER

We manufacture from a metric 5 to a 40, to 1 and several ends. We offer yarns obtained from flame retardant Polyester fibers.

  • Applications
    Home textiles
    Woven bags
    Protective clothing
    Comfort clothing
    Fire retardant upholstery

Polymer Overview Polyester is a category of polymers that contains the ester functional group in its main chain. The term polyester generally refers to synthetic (plastic) polyesters, which include polycarbonate and especially polyethylene terephthalate. The polyester is synthetically formed with ethylene glycol plus terephthalic acid, producing the polymer or polytericoletane. As a result of the polymerization process, the fiber is obtained, which is the basis for the preparation of the threads for sewing and for the manufacture of fabrics. Chemical properties
Alcali Fuerte: Little
Weak Alcali: Low
Strong Acid: Good
Weak Acid: Excellent
Oxidizing agents: Excellent
Hydrolysis: Little

VISCOSE

We manufacture from a metric 5 to a 50, to 1 and several ends.

Uses and applications: Home textile and clothing.

VISCOSE IGNIFUGAL

We manufacture from a metric 5 to a 50, to 1 and several ends. We offer threads obtained from flame retardant Viscose fibers, normally accompanied by other materials depending on the final application of the woven product. Applications

  • Protective clothing against sparks and metal splashes
    Comfort clothing
    Dry filtration
    Wet filtration
    Outdoor textiles

Polymer Overview Flame retardant Viscose fiber has a perfectly penta and / or hexagonal polyhedral cross section. Longitudinally it is characterized by a smooth and homogeneous surface. These fibers have a thermal stability far superior to that of conventional viscose due to the decomposition temperature of the polymer. Others

  • Natural antistatic fiber
    Good perspiration
    Optimum product for skin sensitivity.
    Optimum humidity management.
    Good relationship with the environment.
WOOL

We manufacture from a metric 5 to a 50, to 1 and several ends.

Uses and applications: Home textile and clothing.

POLYESTER / LINEN

We manufacture from a metric 5 to a 40, to 1 and several ends.

Uses and applications: Home textile and clothing.

KERMEL

We manufacture from a metric 5 to a 50, to 1 and several ends. Applications:

  • Protective clothing
    Sewing thread

Generalities of the Kermel Polymer is a polyamide-imide, classified within the aramid family. It has been developed for application in products that require high performance of both thermal and mechanical resistance in the preparation of heat and flame protection equipment. Fiber properties:

  • Flame retardant by nature
Thermostable at high long-term temperatures and even temperatures up to 1000ºC for seconds
    Exceptional color fastness
    Ensures excellent thermal insulation
    High resistance to chemicals
    Good mechanical strength
    Soft and comfortable touch
Appearance irreproachable: does not produce fries (pilling)

They are used in different industrial processes, due to their good electrical, chemical and mechanical properties. Chemically resistant to aqueous solutions of inorganic acids, weak organic acids, bleach, alcohol and some oils.

All Semi-combed yarns are supplied in color or in raw material (To consult colors, ask one of our agents to supply you with a color chart)
